PROS: The NH Eixample is located on a more quiet part of the C. de València, a residential area in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Paseo de Gràcia, and along the way one can find nice shops, tapas bars, and cute little places to sit and rest. It's a great area. It might be of interest to some that the entrance to the Hotel has a flight of steps, with no ramp for rolling suitcases or for disabled people in wheelchairs. A very nice man from reception helped us carry in our suitcases from the street. Thank goodness! As NH Members, we are used to the modern, clean rooms NH offers, and our room was perfectly functional and did not disappoint. Breakfast was fine, with NH Hotel's typical well-supplied buffet, and even some good local specialities. We greatly appreciated the lovely, cheerful and helpful staff in the breakfast room. CONS: The hotel bar seemed to have very limited hours (we never saw it open). Vending machines are available in the lobby. That was surprising for an NH Hotel. Also surprising was that room service was less than adequate. Although NH Hotels urge guests to use the ‘Mobile Guest Service’ by scanning a QR code in order to request room service, amenities and so forth with a mobile device, the service never worked. We phoned reception and told them. Their reply was blasé. They told us to order by phone, which we did. We were informed that many of the items on the already limited room service menu were not in stock, so we settled on what they told us was available. There was a decent fruit salad. But. The terrible quality of the rather expensive so-called "Angus Burgers" was shocking, almost insulting. We wonder if someone actually went out to a fast food joint to pick them up. Maybe that would have been better. They arrived cold, skimpy and overcooked, with strands of limp, wilted lettuce and a thin, soggy slice of tomato sticking to the stale buns. When phoning downstairs to ask what had become of a few other things we had ordered, we were told we should come downstairs ourselves to fetch them. Perhaps the hotel was understaffed, but still, that's rather outrageous. After all, this is the NH Hotel! What happened?

WiFi not working, room without air conditioner, bad experience !

We are staying at room 314 now dated 24/3/2024 for 3 nights and today the first night has felt to move out immediately ! The lobby with staircase is inconvenient for disabled person. The WiFi is not working, complaint to receptionist and been told that we need to pay extra to get stronger WiFi connection. The room only with hot air, understand is cold weather now, spoke to receptionist and been advised to turn off the air conditioner controller but the room is warm without air at all and we need to open the window to get some air circulation but it is too noisy after opened the window. What a bad experience !! Highly not recommended to stay !!!

The hotel is arround 20 miinutes walk from the city center. We slept on the fifth floor and there was a constant sound of slamming doors. In addition, we could hear very clearly when the neighbors were showering

Ideal location. Walking distance to nearest bus stop and metro station. A few blocks walking distance to Paseó de Gracia, friendly staff and pleasant neighborhood. Very good breakfast buffet and warm and clean lounge area at the reception area.

One night at this very well located hotel in the Eixample area. The room was spacious, bed decently comfortable. The bathroom was average size and simple. I would otherwise give the hotel four stars given its great location, not in the heart of the historic center but close enough and giving a good flavor of the city. But it was a very noisy night as my room faced a major street and I asked not to. Other than that, it a good option and fairly priced. Not many amenities but the room had a minibar with room for extras. Didn't try the breakfast (not included).
